  • Designer asks questions about your needs and desires.
  • Designer gets to know you, your personality and how the space will be utilized.
  • Elements of your design are identified and customized.
  • Pictures and brochures are reviewed to better capture your style and preferences.
  • The designer may take some photos and measurements.

Step 2:  Presentation Meeting(s)

  • The designer formulates ideas for your landscape project and completed design.
  • A second meeting will be scheduled at your convenience to review the proposal and design.
  • You will be shown rough sketches, complete renderings and/or possibly elevation drawings.
  • Specific details such as plant material and/or construction details will be discussed.
  • There may be one or more presentation meetings depending on the scope of the project.

Step 3:  Revisions and Changes

  • Additions and/or changes may now be needed.
  • Discussions between you and the designer will take place until you are completely satisfied.
  • The proposal will also be altered accordingly.

Step 4:  Contract Signature

  • A signed proposal and a 30% deposit are needed to get the project scheduled.
  • All the appropriate materials are ordered.
  • Any changes thereafter will be reflected in the proposal.
  • The designer will let you know the approximate timeframe for the work.
  • You will be contacted when near your start date and continually kept informed.

Please note:  Because every project is unique, the designer may choose to incorporate these basic steps and any additional steps to best serve you.
