Step 1: Meet Your Designer
- Initial meeting with professional landscape designer at your home is scheduled.
- Scope of the project is identified.
- Designer asks questions about your needs and desires.
- Designer gets to know you, your personality and how the space will be utilized.
- Elements of your design are identified and customized.
- Pictures and brochures are reviewed to better capture your style and preferences.
- The designer may take some photos and measurements.
Step 2: Presentation Meeting(s)
- The designer formulates ideas for your landscape project and completed design.
- A second meeting will be scheduled at your convenience to review the proposal and design.
- You will be shown rough sketches, complete renderings and/or possibly elevation drawings.
- Specific details such as plant material and/or construction details will be discussed.
- There may be one or more presentation meetings depending on the scope of the project.
Step 3: Revisions and Changes
- Additions and/or changes may now be needed.
- Discussions between you and the designer will take place until you are completely satisfied.
- The proposal will also be altered accordingly.
Step 4: Contract Signature
- A signed proposal and a 30% deposit are needed to get the project scheduled.
- All the appropriate materials are ordered.
- Any changes thereafter will be reflected in the proposal.
- The designer will let you know the approximate timeframe for the work.
- You will be contacted when near your start date and continually kept informed.
