SOLUTION
The existing brick on the upper patio was worn and faded so the new design added an update of bluestone on both the upper and lower patios. The pond flows out of the upper patio and spills down several waterfalls to a Koi pond on the lower patio. Now the sound and movement of the water can be enjoyed from multiple locations. Mature trees were added to give the backyard a more intimate feel and give screening which increased privacy from the golf course located behind the home. The front of the residence included installation of new horseshoe brick driveway which allowed for better traffic flow than the original single entry drive. It also allows for guest parking with direct access to the front entry. The front entry steps and walk were widened. To give a unique appearance, thicker bluestone was also used on the steps. In an effort to increase flow between properties, the concept of using the space between for a bocce ball court and side patio space was achieved along with lighting for late night games that tied into the landscape lighting of the whole yard.

Due to an unseasonably warm March, the plants, turf, and especially the weeds got an early start. Because of this, we started mowing the first week of April, which is typically not started until the third week. The demand to keep up with the mowing caused us to get behind on spring clean-up services and weeding of beds. Please bear with us as we catch up on items that normally we do not need to address until May. We appreciate your patience during this extremely busy spring and highly unusual weather conditions. We thank you for your business.
